Hope Robinson serves as the Goodwin Meissner Operations and Education Alumni Fellow. Her journey with CYC began in 2020 as a Fellow during her junior year at East Mecklenburg High School. Since receiving both the CYC Torch Award and the Smith Opportunity Scholarship, Hope has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies and Latin American/Latinx Studies with a concentration in Policy and Social Change from Rhodes College. While at Rhodes, she was honored with the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, served as a Bonner Scholar, and became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Throughout her collegiate and professional experiences, Hope has centered her work on supporting youth and families through relationship building, community engagement, and research. She is passionate about educational equity, social mobility, and literacy. In her role at CYC, Hope supports administration and operations across the East and Southwest campuses and is completing a rotational program among CYC’s various teams.
Outside of work, Hope enjoys reading, exploring new places in Charlotte, and spending time with her family and friends.
