Malinda Gill brings a lifelong passion for service, leadership, and empowering others to her role on the board of the Carolina Youth Coalition. A graduate of Radford University, where she earned a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications on a full athletic scholarship, Malinda has dedicated her life to helping others succeed — both in and out of the classroom.
Her commitment to youth development is reflected in years of hands-on volunteer work with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as a tutor, health room assistant, and high school lacrosse coach. She has also served as a mentor and tutor through the Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center. She has been actively involved in her church community participating in food pantry programs, Multiple mission trips domestic and internationally, as well as serving on a Hope Team.
Malinda is a seasoned board leader, having chaired the local fundraising chapter for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and served on boards for the Steele Creek YMCA and her neighborhood HOA, where she held the role of treasurer. She has also been a key member of her neighborhoods Architectural Review Committee.
Known for her ability to bring people together for a greater purpose, Malinda is a natural connector with a servant’s heart. She leads with grace, encouraging others to reach their full potential, and brings a calm, steady presence to every table she joins.
