Meneika Helms serves as the Development Director, where she brings her deep passion for building equitable communities to life through lasting impact. With more than 15 years of experience in the philanthropic sector, including leadership roles at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and Charlotte Bilingual Preschool, Meneika has dedicated her career to creating pathways for opportunity and inclusion.

A proud UNC Charlotte alum with a bachelor’s in Marketing, Meneika now leads efforts at CYC to grow the organization’s philanthropic partnerships and community presence, ensuring more young people have the support and resources they need to thrive.

In her free time, Meneika loves traveling, diving into creative projects, and spending time with family and friends.
